Onboarding updates:
FW: Students have a 1-1 on expectations with the team, onboarding document has general overview of team and architecture, assign mentor to guide through bootcamp → FW is on track with the new onboarding program
EE: Bootcamp still in progress, onboarding guide in progress, limited by circumstances → EE might take a little longer to get on new onboarding program, new members have research and related tasks in the meantime
EE needs to find an on-stream lead for next term, priority to identify and develop someone for lead next term.
Mech: Template for drawings, systems for tracking drawing numbers and standards. Manually have to send invite, has a set of documents that you give to new joiners, will finalize that into an onboarding guide → Still needs to setup onboarding guide
Operations: Operations has an onboarding guide, no real test for it yet as recruiting is just kicking off → Operations is complete with the new onboarding program
CV: Now has a document that goes over architecture and projects, recorded video for new members from the last session, still need to figure out bash script but the instructions that exist are fairly clear in the first place. → CV is on track with new onboarding program, just need to figure out bash script if possible over time.
