FEA/SIM explanation | Smile Khatri | Basics on what sims/FEA is Software we can use: SolidWorks simulations, Ansys Fluent & Ansys for FEA and CFD Simulation workshops starting late September Workshop 1 will go in-depth about CFD, fundamentals of aircraft aerodynamics which will help us make our drone more aerodynamic opportunity to learn Ansys Fluent (popular software for running CFD sims) Workshop 2 will be focused on FEA, static and dynamic sims. I.e. we can use FEA to determine whether our landing gear can withstand the impact from the drone landing
There’ll be opportunities for running sims throughout the term for different drone components
