  • didn’t crash or damage autonomy devices

  • tried collecting images with manual control instead of auto mission
    • manual control tends to be more flexible also the fly speed is slower than auto-mission

    titleWhat Went Well?

  • after increasing the image size, the camera significantly takes more time to take photos

    • more time needs to be spent on the flight

  • the first flight rpi was taking photos normally but the number of photo taken from the following flights were significantly lower

    • also rpi reports low voltage on power supply message

      • shouldn’t be buck converter’s issue tho we didn’t have DMM at that moment to test voltage

    • suspect the rpi lost performance under very low temperatures (about 0 degrees)

    • a car will be required for the next image-collecting flight test so that rpi and batteries can be warmed up between flights

  • more 3s lipo batteries will be ideal

4 3s batteries we have, one of them has a bad balance port
  • The flight test location isn’t safe☠️

    • between the flights when we were checking equipment, there were 6 cars suddenly drove behind us and we first thought they were gonna deal drugs

    • we run the north cornfield across the street

    • it turns out those guys were showing off their cars and driving around the turnabout by turns
