The drum at competition will be 23” OD. : EarthMinded 55 Gal. Open Top Plastic Industrial Drum with Lid and Lock-band -Off-color PFR55-OC - The Home Depot
What we really care about is the inner diameter of the drum, which is missing from any documentation, however we have measured a similar drum to have an ID of 20.5 inches

Initial Ideas
Laser cut MDF circle with 3d printed standoffs locating it on the drum. You would need 4 total standoffs, 2 tangent to the outer wall, 2 tangent to the inner wall of the drum.

This is looking good! some small tweaks and it will be good to go!
Please double check that your dimensions fit the drum we have in the bay, I think the inner and outer diameter of the drum don’t line up with your design

Project Update
Fasteners added, M3 Flat Head Screws used
Updated measurements, I have left about 0.8mm of tolerance for each standoff.
Updated material thickness for the MDF to 1/8” (3.175mm)
