  • Got PCB layout reviewed, will address shortly before starting routing

12S ESC (Ethan, Chris)

  • Ethan in India

6S ESC (Rayyan, Mostafa)

  • Mostafa: Attended buck control session by Farris, and decided on using electrolytic capacitor for output cap, started reading into current sense.

  • Rayyan: Have Power MOSFETs selection down to a couple MOSFETs. Will have selection finalized by next meeting along with majority of everything else related to gate driver circuit.

    • I also attended Farris' Control Loop Learning Session and learned a lot and feel big brain now.

  • Both of have our Asana goals updated.

    • Rayyan: Component selection for gate driver circuit done by Nov 30th. MCU circuit by winter break. By end of winter break to have schematics.

    • Mostafa: Buck and current sense component selection done by Nov 30ths. Schematics done by end of winter break.

LED Controller (Neel, Parker)

  • Setup another meeting to go over component selection.

    • Meet before next Sync (Saturday)

    • Neel will be gone start of Decemeber December. Plan to have at least component selection and parts ordered. Leaving assembly and testing.

ELRS Gemini (Michael, Farris)

  • Boards cleaned up & ready for use now

  • Project is now in EFS hands, Farris still on campus for rest of semester & can provide support

  • Good work Farris and Michael!

Drone Battery PCB (Farris)

  • Still need to take some measurements & draft a rough outline to determine price & power capabilities, will probably be some delay on this though as I’m bogged down by schoolwork

PDB (Tom)

  • Continuing with trying to figure out a method to maximize the use of ADC resolution with variable voltage input.

  • Last midterm finished yesterday, will have more time to get back on top of it.

  • Would like to finish before end of term.

  • Finish schematic design in next two weeks.

  • Troubling thinking through values for components in voltage divider/zener diode/hp filter before signals enter ADC for current and votlage sensing.

  • Look to finish working through this issue before Monday next week

    Figured out which components are required, now need to determine component values.

Tracking Antenna (Nolan, Hardy, Michael)

  • 25-5V buck schematic done

  • Schematic still throws some errors but I think they're easy to fix

  • After review onto layout I suppose?

  • Michael will continue to work on power analysis.

  • Will redo some of the connecters and portsNolan Haines Hardy Yu Michael Botros Please update.

  • Schematic is close to being finished for voltage sensing. Measuring the differential voltage between all 6 cells. Low battery indicator and automatic shutoff.

  • Overcurrent protection, SD Card, Shield connectors remaining.

  • Goal to have board done before exam season.

12S Servo Module (Jerry)

  • Jerry: pushed deadline by 1 week to Nov 23rd since I'm not confident with PCB trace routing.

    • Will talk to Daniel.
