Importance

This is a lesson Sahil learned over summer 2021 (S21) - the team needs to feel like a team, and the best way to do so is to create opportunities for people to hangout, vibe, and relax. See Keep WARG Engaging! for further lessons learned in F23.

Strategies

Here’s some of the things we tried that improved the team bonding of WARG:

  • General Socials

    • Karaoke bar

    • Game night

    • Holiday parties

      • Gingerbread houses, Halloween stuff, etc

    • Baking Cookies

  • Post-meeting or post work session outing

    • Ice cream

    • Climbing

    • Bubble tea

    • Spikeball

    • Dinner
