Introduction
Captures
Usage
J1
Power to the RPi
“Plug power into this connector to power the Raspberry Pi”
3S LiPo (~12V) max input
~6 V min input
J4 or J5
“Either J4 or J5 or both will be populated (have a physical connector as defined inhttps://uwarg-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EL/pages/2308538389/Electrical+Terminology?search_id=8f03f34f-c7ad-4750-980e-ee1bd7416cf9&additional_analytics=queryHash---deaf639d1f10d846c652f930a540deaba1c3318373c64e2b97a8519119c68f7b )”
to pixhawk TELEM port for UART
“Connect this to the Pixhawk’s TELEM port using https://uwarg-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EL/pages/2312044593/Pixhawk+Electrical+Connector+Standards?search_id=bf41d757-1749-4607-832d-d7fb7c8f9cf3&additional_analytics=queryHash---8a468cca9e927eafb9721bf3b16e8a5c8d8c65edd887fd7b0e120a7f10178218 1:1 harness”
J10
for uart killswitch
The input voltage to S on connector j10 determines whether the UART connection is allowed or disallowed
connect S to GND to allow UART coms
with anything … jumper wire, cable, pixhawk, etc, the board doesn’t care
for intended use case please see https://uwarg-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/EL/pages/2594996231/RPI+Interface+Rev+B?atl_f=content-tree
float S or pull to +3.3 V to disallow UART coms
if you dont get this please see Electrical Terminology
“Leaving a pin disconnected is known as leaving it floating. On this board, S is pulled to 3.3V by default. For more information: [link to tutorial about pull up/pull down/floating]“
