Update from work session on Tuesday:

• polycarb is drilled out and has floats attached. Floats also got the xt30 connectors they needed shout out @Electrical (EE) Lead for organizing that and the splitters for pumps

• tank mounting points added to Peggy 1 (way nicer of a harness to adjust arms than Peggy 2. The connectors being at end of arm is nice compared to up by esc)

• one mounting point replaced on Peggy 2

• tanks have tubing mounting points. One tank sprayed. One not sprayed. Can add a layer of flex seal if we want but Rohaan said 25 minutes with water and no leaks

• oring cut for main part of tanks

• one dual pump ready (forgot to check for cotter pins. Will check Thursday)

Future work sessions:

• battery shrouds

  • Pry 3d prints off old ones

  • Cut new layup into the new parts

    • Need to finalize dimensions and check with machinists

• Finish up dual pump mounts

  • 3 of 4 dual pump mounts made thanks Gabriel Singaraja

  • Need to look into clevis and cotter pins

• Cut and add small pieces of oring to around the bolts

• mount everything → lets do Peggy 2 until Peggy 1 is fully wired

  • Mount tubing to bottom of tank

  • Fasten polycarb to tank and inlet tubing

  • Add tacky tape to tubing and any gap in oring

  • Mount to the mounting points on the frame. PLEASE be careful when tightening it down. Don’t go too far as they are locknuts and if we want to dismount it, then we may risk breaking the wall of the print

  • Add splitters to the water controller board and attach to the pumps

If pumps aren’t loosely on before meeting, let me validate the location first, need to base it off harnessing and tank

  • Researched wire options. Nichrome 80 seems to work. Amazon.com: Nichrome 80-100' - 26 Gauge Wire - 100ft - 0.4mm - 0.016in - Made in USA - Master Wire Supply : Tools & Home Improvement

  • Created a calculator to determine wire temperature as a function of power - Smile

  • Next steps are to finalize tool design, and circuit design for varying current through the wire (thinking of a potentiometer)
