RPAS - Basic licencing
Overview
The TC basic drone license permits the operation of drones from 250g-25kg under ‘small basic’ conditions. Information on the small basic conditions can be found here: https://tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/drone-safety/learn-rules-you-fly-your-drone/find-your-category-drone-operation . For the vast majority of WARG aircraft, this category of operation will suffice. This license does not expire at the time of writing though refer to the regulations from transport Canada.
