Recruiting
Introduction
This document discusses the importance of recruiting while the subpages cover some relevant information regarding recruiting attempts for the past present and future!
Importance of Recruiting
We are all university students with limited terms on WARG (as iterated in Lead Term Guidelines ) and so in order to keep the team alive we must focus on recruiting new members and getting them engaged (as iterated in Keep WARG Engaging! ).
If you (as a subteam lead or as a member) feel like the tasks laid out before you are far too much or you find yourself too busy to do things that you want to do then the way to handle that is to focus on recruiting and bringing up the next generation of WARGians to help you and achieve more than you could imagine!
Keep the Team Alive
Most team’s in the SDC die due to a failure to focus on building their team and a failure to recruit. Concerns surrounding this are addressed in Restarting WARG and have been echoed by SDC administration in meetings frequently which can be found in University Administration Meetings .
Duty of Recruiting
Everyone is responsible for recruiting to keep the team going. It is not just an operations task. If directors see recruiting is lacking it is their responsibility to step up to the plate as perDirector Onboarding .
