Summary

The university has given us a OneDrive account with our Waterloo email, explained in https://uwarg-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AD/pages/2311618600.

Permissions

  • Leads, PMs, and a handful of other roles have access to this via the WARG account

  • Individual files and folders can be shared to member’s personal uWaterloo emails so they can edit and contribute to these. Try and avoid sharing massive folders though, only share what’s needed

  • Some documents are controlled and should never be shared to anyone’s personal. These include the team roster and a few others so we can protect privacy. Just use common sense.

Use Case

The OneDrive is the primary location for all shared files being accessed frequently by team members. This includes Word documents, PowerPoints, Excel files, etc. Large files or those older than two terms old that are not frequently accessed should be moved to long term storage.
