  • This is made clear due to the lack of a mention within WARG Leadership section of Team Charter

• Is subordinate to the Operations Subteam Lead.

  • Is at the same authority tier as a subteam member of the Operations Subteam.

Naming Justification

• for the SSDC this is referred to as the “finance lead” comes from the SSDC’s terminology.

• The name comes from the SSDC.

Responsibilities

• This person on WARG is the point of contact for university of waterloo SSDC’s finance person

  • As of S24 the SSDC’s finance manager is Sarah R. Feeney

  • The [University] Financial Administrator handles all finances for the department, the student machine shop, and the student design team accounts.

• Expected to know the status of our financial ledgers and Internal Purchase Protocol to be able to communicate externally

Requirements

• Must meet Member Definition

• Must meet Subteam Member Definition for Operations Subteam

• Approval from Operations Subteam Leads

• Ideally is not also an SSDC “Team Lead” which we internally refer to as Executive Director though we are unsure if this is an official requirement from the SSDC.

• This position can be held by an active operations subteam lead if they are up for the responsibilities.
