Hey!

We at Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group are on the lookout for ambitious project managers to join our team and help drive the success of our projects. We are a student design team focused on competing at the Aerial Evolution Association of Canada Student UAS Competition. This years challenge is to create a flying taxi that can transport passengers autonomously. Check the competition out at https://www.aerialevolution.ca/annual-student-competition/ .

Since the competition is in May, we are looking for new team members ASAP! If you're passionate about technology and have a desire to push the boundaries of what you know, we encourage you to join this exciting opportunity. No prior project management experience is required - we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

At Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group, you'll have the chance to work with a team of engineers, designers, and business people on the cutting-edge of aerial robotics technology. As a member of the systems integration team you'll be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, as well as managing resources, timelines, and integration of aircraft subsystems. WARG will let you add some valuable, real-world experience to your resume that employers love to see on resumes.

You can also join any of our other sub-teams!

Mechanical - Design, and fabricate aircraft and make justifiable mechanical design decisions.

Business and Operations - Organize sponsorship outreach, marketing campaigns and produce integrated graphic designs.

Electrical- Design custom UAV electronics such as a flight controllers and power distribution systems.

Embedded Flight Software - Develop custom flight software supporting sensor interfacing, controls, and autonomy.

Computer Vision - Develop models & software for real-time object detection, simultaneous localization and mapping, as well as path planning and motion profiling.
