Hi all, this is your chance to join the Waterloo Aerial Robotics Group (WARG), the University of Waterloo's award-winning design team building a fully-autonomous flying drone! 📢

We are looking for new students to join our team this term and work with any (or multiple) of our exciting sub-teams:

💡 Operations - Coordinate the team’s finances, sponsorships, media, website, recruitment, and merch. Gain both administrative and managerial experience!

💡 Mechanical - Work on the design, construction, and testing of our aircraft. Gain exposure to the design process and make justifiable mechanical design decisions based on project limitations and requirements.

💡 Electrical - Design and implement UAV electronics, including RF, power, and motors.

💡 Autonomy - Develop models and software for real-time object detection, simultaneous localization and mapping, path planning and motion profiling.

💡 Embedded Flight Software - Develop custom flight software supporting sensor interfacing, controls, and autonomy.

Joining WARG enables students to learn about robotics and develop innovative aerial solutions through collaboration and non-classroom instruction. We welcome students of all knowledge and experience levels!
