Anti-Spark Connector Standards

To limit inrush into bulk capacitors on our drone battery bus voltage we must use “anti-spark” connectors. This type of connector is explained in Tech Tuesday ---- Anti-spark Connectors amongst other resources. Our drone does not use any formal in rush current limiting circuits because of the weight. We do need the connectors bc with over 1mF of capacitance in our 2024 Pegasus and a 50 V bus it is a lot of current.

Over time inrush arcing will melt and char connectors increasing DCR and worsening our connection. We cannot tolerate this. Please be mindful when making harnesses and whenever plugging in batteries of this standard.
