Background

• just an idea for now, ee leads to flesh out

What

• Plug into sense leads on a 2S to 6S battery

• Discharges to correct 3.85V per cell

  • speed can be pretty slow, we’re not in a rush as long as we have a lot of these

• extremely low leakage when it’s done (<10uA for sure)

• include a fuse for safety

• led when it’s discharging

• Cheap

Why

• we have to use our chargers to discharge right now

• requires us to watch them because of fast discharge speed

• we also have a lot of batteries so discharging takes a lot of time

• If we make this product ourselves we can make it really cheap and then get a bunch of them.

• set it and leave it overnight

• sense leads instead of the actual batt input is nicer because then you don’t have to autodetect
