Objectives

  • Basic tuning w/ 15" prop
  • RTL/Autonomous Flight
  • Loiter
  • Test thrust with 1 battery instead of 2

Problems Encountered

  • Compass drift caused loiter to drift and go in circles
  • Forgot to charge the taranis
  • Yaw P term was too low, causing yaw overshoot
  • Correctly did RTL
  • Hovering was at ~55%

  • Invesigate increased baud rate
  • Mount FPV gear and egg grabber
  • Compass drift
  • cache maps
  • charge computers
  • Investigate higher kV motors
