1:1s w/ team members

Alright so following the example of electrical and general team leadership, we are instituting 1:1 meetings w/ each member of mechanical at several points through the term (once? few times?). This is so we can check up on progress, help people get involved, and receive feedback from members!

Structure

Probably set up through lettucemeet. Can involve either or both mech leads. Will be held online (esp b/c offsite leads for W23).

Scheduled for 30 min time block, likely takes between 10-20 mins.

Objectives

  • Check on current progress

    • can be bootcamp

    • ask for updates, things they’re stuck on, subteams they need to talk to, or resources they need

    • next steps

    • if they’re losing interest in project try to problem solve or reassign

  • Check on how they feel about the team, support within the team

    • basically feedback for leads

    • anything they can recommend for engagement, clarity, belonging, involvement, etc

    • more socials? social ideas?

    • interpersonal conflicts (DONT emphasize this. basically only if there seems to be social disconnection or conflict w/ the team or something. otherwise its weird)
