Comp Drone

CAD

• see cad guidelines! we will make them

Conall: updates were made to main assembly that rolled back changes to parts and broke stuff

• main assembly was rolled back to a state that could be fixed

• reminder: each assembly has an owner, please do not upload changes to assemblies without checking with the owner

• should we move forward with current system with more strict guidelines or a checkout system

MFG

• wings, CNC router busy

H-Frame: Conall

• aluminum parts are close to completion

• carbon fiber: emma to follow up with prof about using water saw

• fly and crash this prototype of the H-frame as many times before making the real one

Wings

• will not hit Dec 7th deadline for manufacture

• Ryan - next week for manufacturing

  • asked to prioritize wings over nose cone

Tail

• still needs to be manufactured

Fuselage

• all 3D printed connectors - wait for CF reinforced filament

• manufacture 1 structural layer CF sheet

• 3 less structural CF sheets

Will attach a list of assembly owners

• must checkin with an assembly owner before editing an assembly

• assembly owners: it is your responsibility to make sure two people aren’t editing your assembly at the same time

• do this through the #grabcad channel

• threads or forums for checkin-checkout status of each assembly

MFG

Phoenix

No updates

• might need to make one more frame

Changes to arms to improve assembly

• not urgent

Ground Tower

• there’s a giant stick in the bay

• tripod base

• Will be tested on Sunday Flight Test

• EFS to specify requirements and design for this
