Airframe ON TRACK

  • Fasteners all need to be done properly with Loctite and washers.

      • unless strong opposition it will be behind the passenger cabin to make the drone shorter.

Sensors In pog-ress (pog)

  • there’s kind of nothing that falls under this to remove cateogry in the future.

PDB In pog-ress (pog)

  • Currently in development and documented in the following page: Custom PDB Board Confluence

  • Aims to have similar if not better specs than the current PDB (especially in part choices so far), with the inclusion of current and voltage sensing signal outputs.

    • Essentially this board is meant to combine the PM02 power module and the PDB distribution board which currently are two off the shelf cots solutions

  • Thoughts on integrating this into testing and being used in the coming competition cycle, a deadline imposed onto the project for it to make it on time, and what other features would be desirable within reason, if any?

    • If board is tested on the ground and meets design requirements (being it combines two COTs boards, is electrically equivalent or better, and lighter and smaller than both those cots boards combined) by end of finals this term F23

    • Then we can test it W24 in flight testing (and gives time for mech to make a case). If it meets all requirements (specifically reliability) then we will use it at competition.

  • No updates on wiring diagram in past week

    • @Daniel Puratich current architecture is no pixhawk comms to LEDs. only way to turn LEDs off completely is to pull the power
