3D printing

• Bambu printer sent off for CSA certification. Hopefully we will receive it back by July 27th…

  • use RPC in the mean time. Our team has a FOB which allows us to access RPC during unsupervised hours.

  • the Bay has a box dedicated for filaments. Some filaments are also in the AMS system. Ping @Smile Khatri w questions.

• DO NOT print with CF petg filament in RPC printers. It will destroy the printer nozzles and filament drive gear.

• RPC is not accessible to design teams after hours

Weatherproofing

• Aim to have dome and mould design ready for review by Friday.

• Still have to determine the process of thermoforming (temperatures, time, etc).

• Mould can be manufactured with the foam block we already have.
