3D printing

• 3D printer is back!! Please follow instructions in 3D Printing Guidelines and Bambu Labs + Prusa Instructions - Mechanical - WARG (atlassian.net)

  • If you want to print something, it may be safer to do to using the warg desktop since it is connected to the printer via internet. It will show which filaments are loaded in the AMS.

Electronic Cases

• Need to get cases finalized soon! EE is working hard to finish wiring, it will be ready soon for sensors.

Antenna Tracker

Justin

• Identified screw holes misalignment in the upper base plate (the plate mounts the antennas and gemini), working on modifying design to a larger plate that so the gemini doesn’t overhang.

• The spacer rod is about 9 mm too long causing tensile stress in one of the aluminium bend mounts (I’ll need to cut that and re-tap it)

• The 3D printed antenna holders are loose due to friction wear, may consider designing a metal one or just 3D print another one (easiest way).

Tasks

• Pixhawk (flight controller) needs to be mounted on Pegasus 2.0. Is anyone interested in this assembly task? (may involve 3D printing?)

  • The mounting CF plate has already been water-jet and is in the bay

Fixed wing empennage

• choosing airfoils for vertical and horizontal stabalizers
