General Updates

  • NO MEETINGS for reading week and midterms

    • We are currently aiming for Nov 1 but this is tentative - this might changed based on the feedback you guys give me about your timelines

  • Tried to rework tracking antenna - didn't work today

  • Looking for other mistakes causing issues

Plan Going forward:

  • Looking into better board review process

    • should implement formal review process - be more thorough and meticulous in review process

    • checklist - we have one but have not been using it lately

    • have multiple people reviewing and splitting up work for different components

    • have other ppl review design, not just main engineer

  • Be careful about taking designs from other boards that have not been brought up and validated yet

Potential new project: Standard connectors fixed wing

  • VBat, CAN, 5V in one connector

  • Easily have everything together so it is easy to remove parts
