Competition Logistics Summary

• Will be flying out 8 or 10 people to comp instead of driving

• Pegasus 1 and 2, along with other tools will be packed in checked bags

• Mech to design and implement a solution to pack the drones securely in checked bags

  • packaging foam, foam cutouts to support the drone, etc.

• After Dec 14th flight test, payload will need some reworking, see: 2025-01-09 Comp 2025 Payload Sync

• We will be pivoting to a winched down pump and outlet tube to make it so we don’t need to land on the barrel as that proved too difficult

• Pump testing proved that the current pump can’t pump high enough for this, will be trying a new pump instead

Eclipse Fuselage

• The frames for the fuselage have been drawn out. So for this weeks work session is anyone interested in cutting out the frames?

  • Or if anyone doesn’t have much to do at the work session they're welcome to cut out the frames

Eclipse Empennage & Landing Gear

  • 3D print elevator and rudder and test fit onto the empennage

  • Make linkage rods to connect the servos with the control surface

• Landing gear:

  • bend sheet metal

  • mount servo to the rear landing gear

  • mount to the frame
