Logging Research

Critical Logging Data:

• Data Timestamps (Data is useless without)

• RPM Actual and target Values

• Aileron/Rudder/Elevator Actual and target positions

• Euler angles Actual and target

• Altimeter and holding altitude/target altitude

• Flight mode at any given point (Eg. following waypoints, takeoff, landing, etc.)

• GPS co-ordinates (can be post-processed to get speed if needed)

• Error codes

• Data for configuration (PID values, other tuning/modes)

• Battery charge % or Voltage

Standard Logging Data:

• All waypoint data

• Current airspeed

• Any other recorded sensor data

• Is Landed bool

• Flight path all data and commands

• Log of how much charge the batteries carry after each run/recharge (Logged separately)

Nice to have:

• Camera gimble Target and Euler angles

• Home base initialized

• Home base location
