Overall, looks good
The arms go past the motors which is good, there will be some awkwardness when the jig is angled, but this becomes too large if we think about the other angle and becomes tedious to take on and off
A couple things I forgot to mention but could be improved upon:
The holes for the where the jig holds onto the drone can be increased in size.
these were part of the drone before I made the first version and there have been issues when placing the drone on the jig
The countersunk holes can be taken away, they are a huge pain to machine and didn’t fully work as the 8 GA sheet isn’t thick enough
Use just standard M5s and the center bolt can be taken away
The bottom of the gussets can be trimmed to be equal with the boxtube, the oversized dimensions was to act as a support when sitting on the table/ground. However, we can get rid of this as adding tpu (or other 3d printer material) endcaps can be added
Ensure these endcaps are tall enough to go past the screw heads
Look at the endcaps on the arms for sizing to fit within the boxtube
The endcaps on the arms need to be rotated 180 degrees and can just be square, originally, I thought these would help with supporting the arms, but they don’t even touch the table half the time.
Ensure they cover sharp edges essentially

Notes from mech meeting 2024-11-21:
Just adjust the holes on the carbon fiber, just a couple millimeters extra
No gusset changes or other hole changes
Whichever boxtube was changed please mark down somewhere so we know what needs to be ordered

Please switch all the coincident mates you have for these parts to width mates so you can visualize how it would actually sit
You need to redo the distance between the holes, they should be inline with those hole clearances in the back of the screenshot

The updated holes look good, but maybe we remove the holes that are right next to them?
The close distance is 1.44 mm which might get broken off in the waterjet
Also need to keep in mind width of batteries, which are 58 mm about
The current width is 59, so maybe we use the old P007 as there is limited waterjet availability
The old one has an inner width of 60 which is what the space between the peek standoffs are and is already known to be enough clearance for the batteries
Do you remember what dimensions were changed on P007 between the first revision and this version?
I updated the coincident mates to be width mates between the mounts and the carbon fiber plate
