Pegasus Iterations

• Investigate angled landing gear - modify Peggy 2 but not too much

• Rigid top cover - maybe fiberglass + molds

• Motor shields - integrated into motor mounts

• Aerodynamic cabin using 3D printed molds and vacuum bagging

I want to try out 3D printed mold and vacuum bagging on a very small part, maybe a mini air-foil before we do something big. This will use some small amount of C.F. but worth it for learning imo.

Fixed Wing Program

• Splitting up design into sub-projects

  • Wings

    • Designing/choosing airfoils

    • Simulations to inform design

    • Developing a manufacturing plan

  • Skeleton/fusalage

    • Some form of tubing - laser cut wood?

    • Landing gear design/manufacturing
