Brian at E3 said cutting it with a bandsaw would do and the piece was too flimsy for the waterjet and a waste of time / resources
(Andy) Took Friday to cut all the carbon shrouds so its now 4 pieces that just needs to be sanded, cleaned (can the wax be washed off?) and then epoxy it onto the PLA clips.
If someone has time, we could just tape the carbon plates onto the clips to test how it feels before doing a more permanent solution
We have an instant set epoxy for finally attaching them together in the chemical box. We should not use aeropoxy
Composites Canada order came in (ty Conall for adding this)
Who is interested in helping with layups? We will be doing some on Sunday November 26th at the mech work session (@2pm?) Feel free to come if you’re interested! You don’t need to have any experience, those there will teach you!
