  • GoPro camera (microHDMI) → (microHDMI) Air system (TX) → (RX) Ground system (microHDMI) → (HDMI) DeckLink capture

Both systems must have the same firmware version to be able to connect to each other.

Ground System

The ground system has an internal battery and is charged by a the provided barrel plug. See input voltage on the unit. The USB-A port is for a phone with the DJI Lightbridge app.

When turned on it will make a beeping sound. A flashing green light indicates that it’s not connected to the air system. A solid green light indicates that it has successfully connected.

Air System

I (Xierumeng) have no idea how the air system gets power (e.g. voltage?). There may be an internal batteryThe air system does not have an internal battery. It is powered externally. I (Xierumeng) used 12.6 V DC.

The cable is labeled in the same manner the air system port is labeled:

  • The white end plugs into the air system

  • The red end plugs has 2 pins inside that may plug into a DC power source

  • The yellow wires in the ribbon are not connected to anything

There are two lights: One is for receiving data from the GoPro, one is for connection to the Ground system. Red is disconnected, green is connected.

The GoPro has an arrow with a rectangle when it’s attempting to output to an external monitor/system.
