Decisions should be brought to leads meeting and decided with in the meeting | Too much messages in the discord and very hard to follow, decisions are made too quickly without everyone’s awareness
No blame culture | we analyse where the problem is, we don’t point fingers.
Chief Pilot Position | Context: Flight test check lists has not been used the way it is supposed to be, which is a big part of the reason for our crashes The people who is checking off the check list is not knowledgable enough to make sure it’s in a good condition Failing to meet deadlines for upcoming flight tests
Questions needs to be answered: who has the authority to cancel the flight test? Should the flight test leader role exist? Should the flight test leader/coordinator decided case by case depending on aircraft or test items? Who will be the person responding to checking the checklist (the person don’t need to do all the checking himself but need to have the knowledge to verify those)?
role break down: (I think we need a diagram to explain all this) pilot: person who is flying the drone ensures the safety of the aircraft during the flight test
flight test coordinator: coordinates the flight test booking the site, vehicle make sure everything on the check list is checked off (and we have 4 different checklist: week before, day before, before departure and preflight checklist) deadlines and checkpoints: make sure the drone is in fliable condition and the deadlines are met by Thursday before the flight test.
flight test leader: person who request the flight test. outline clearly what needs to be tested during the flight test, ie. what is the task, what the task is for, success criteria.
