    • Plan: Test Target Detect using IR camera (Picamera)

    • Cancelled due to lack of reasonable plan, non urgent timeline, and ability to add on another test

    • Will be shifted to the next flight test

Pegasus/Competition Updates

  • Was testing a new pump, looks a lot better than the old one

  • We will need 12V on the drone.

    • Must check if PDB has enough current for 12V

    • Alternatively we can buy one off the shelf

    • Test 12s power?

    • High current power module? - test

  • Still need to do an analysis on if the pix can support another 1-2 Servos

    Did more pump testing

  • Old pumps are garbooo - will not use

  • Tested if the new pump is bidirectional. It is not. That means we will need to buy a second one for the outlet.

  • Tested the new pump past its rated spec and works just fine.

  • This would require about 500mA from a 12V rail and can be controlled with water controller.

  • Did current analysis on the drone with Megan Lee

  • Mech is strongly considering no winch (therefore no servos) after the pump testing

    • Since we arent hanging a pump, it is less risky to leave cable dangling.

    • SSD if needed?

  • Non EE related updates

    • New airframe for tuning is here

      • This is so someone can learn how to tune the drone

      • Should be made this weekend

  • What else should be done?

    • Make more LED boards?

    • Make more SSD?

Eclipse Updates

  • Maiden flight electrical block diagram is done. Tim Gu is getting started on the harness design. All harness sections below need a harness diagram.

  • Fried ELRS boards?

    • Not installing an antenna while boards is powered up means that transmission line is terminated with an open circuit, wave is getting reflected back and the doubling voltage destroyed the transmitter chip 😞

  • On JLCPCB cart and ready to be ordered

  • Trying to order DigiKey components + parts to fix ELRS+Buck

  • Will now be ordering 1x of buck only, 1x of modem only, and 1x of modem + STM

  • 3x of the buck ICs and STM have already been ordered, so some of those will be left spare.

  • Pick & Place would be huge, this board has so many components
