ICARUS Wiring Schematic

Michael Botros

m4botros@uwaterloo.ca

Description of Change

The wiring diagram for ICARUS needs to show all the electrical components on the ICARUS aircraft, how they are all connected and with what type of connections. Things like power, comms, ports and connectors all need to be determined and displayed on the diagram.

Implementation

Most up to date ICARUS draw.io diagram is uploaded by Michael to the RFC discord thread. Discussion for the diagram is discussed in the RFC discord and implemented by Michael into the schematic until all of the wiring has been determined.

Reason for Change

This provides a comprehensive guide to all relevant sub teams about how all the electrical components in the drone are connected. This is critical for assembly.

⬆️ High

Impact of Not Responding to Change

Subteams will not have the information to connect all necessary components for the drone. Assembly will take longer than expected as people will need to make connection decisions during assembly.
