Active PCB Projects

High Current Power Module (Zen, Chris)

Updated 12V buck based on feedback. Finished component selection for 5V buck.

12S ESC (Ethan, Chris)

  • Sourcing buck components

  • Onboarded Saksham onto project

  • Chris has symbols and footprints that need a review, Ethan will get on this

  • Board 100% isn’t being completed this term. Realistic is that we’re ordering by end of Sept, assembling and bring-up will go to mid-Oct, and then integrating with FOC firmware will be late next term and will carry into Winter term

6S ESC (Mena, Rayyan)

  • Rayyan: Continuing to go through datasheets to source passives

  • Mena: Shifting focus on drone wiring for now

LED Controller (Neel, Parker)

Finalizing the block diagram tonight.

  • Stanley: Selected new input capacitors, added new components to to Altium project, (had to download and modify footprints for Al poly, and 2220 caps, please look over them)

  • Jack: Working on sourcing TVS diode for overcurrent protection boards
