I [Sahil] view leadership techniques as tools in a toolbox. There’s a right time and a place to use a tool to make it most effective. Using a hammer to solder is possible, but it’s a painful process. The same applies to leadership - knowing techniques are important, but it’s even more important to know when to use which technique, as using the wrong one can further hurt morale and not install a sense of confidence in your team members.
