    • Single servo driver - handed off for firmware

Embedded Flight Software

Mechanical

  • angled landing gear may be ready for next weekend, will call off if not

  • payload manufacturing has begun, on track for dec 14th maiden payloads

    • push decision between payloads to following dec 14th

  • Spacers for RPI interface board ha

Autonomy

  • Nov 16/17 flight test

    • Get IR images from the drone

    • Test Geolocation with local logging. (GPS coords are saved on pi, then processed to kml later after extracting log files from pi)

  • Cluster estimation merged, should be able to get tested next week (23rd)

  • IR detection is in progress

    • Tasks delegated last week, will check up

  • Communication to ground is in progress

    • Looking at FTP, although this writes files to the Pixhawk itself: this solution means writing a file to the pixhawk, then having the ground station read this file from the pixhawk later

  • Guided mode testing

    • Have the drone deviate from original mission path using guided mode, then resume the mission from a new location

Flight Tests

  • 2024-11-16

    • Will test Geolocation, IR, and obstacle detection (guided mode) for Autonomy

    • Tracking Antenna test pushed to 2024-11-23 test
