• Work session this Saturday. POR:

  • Finish tail boom and wing spar machining (show up at 9 am if you want to work on the mill. They get occupied pretty quickly.

  • May have some lathe task to machine spacers.

  • deleted old IP address on the license server so now there is only 1. If your PDM is not working, let us know.

  • Should be on ‘PDM-SelfHost’ in Zerotier. If you got PDM prior to Winter 2024 you may need a new zerotier ID.

• Just need to do the CF tubes on Saturday and we can assemble

• We will fly with this new landing gear on Nov 30th!

• Tipping bars blocked by filament delivery as well, testing to see if we actually need them when landing gear is done

• I left feedback on what was not good on the Pegasus 1 jig to try to fix for this one

• Should be ready for manufacturing soon

  • With the limitations on waterjet, do we still want to go with gussets?

Fuselage

• Currently I'm changing the dimensions of the panels, hoping to finalize this by this weekend or early next week

  • Working on making the height of the fuselage taller to avoid overlap with the frame and I’ve lengthened the front portion to accomodate for the motor mount changes

  • Because of the thickness of the boards (~4mm slightly below), the fuselage overlaps with the wings, so I’ll need to make cutouts of the wings on the side panels. Does anyone else have a better idea for this problem?

Eclipse plans

• Need to grind as much manufacturing and assembly as possible before finals

• lack of people on-site next term

• Plan to have the frame assembled by next week

• Pushing as much wings manufacturing as possible, along w/ empennage
