Overview
Components bought and assembled in 2020.
The WARG desktop is a tower computer with good processing power.
The WARG desktop is used to run Autonomy model training and to setup the Jetson. Other subteams may use the WARG desktop as well.

Software
The WARG desktop dual boots into Windows and Ubuntu 18.04 (Linux).
Usage
Windows
Windows is used for model training: Model Training Repository
Ubuntu 18.04
Ubuntu 18.04 is required for the NVIDIA SDK Manager used to setup the Jetson. Do NOT uninstall any packages.

Setup
Use the same name and password in both operating systems:
Computer name: warg-desktop
Username: warg
Password: Put masking tape on the case and write the password there in marker
Windows
Install the operating system as normal.
Download and install the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
Download and install Python 3.8.10: https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-3810/
Include pip
Add Python to environment variables
Disable path length limit
The WARG desktop is ready to clone any of the repositories.
Ubuntu 18.04
Do not install any 3rd party drivers as the NVIDIA video drivers cause issues.
Python is not currently required.
Hardware
The Blackmagic DeckLink Mini Recorder 4K capture card is no longer being used.
