• Goal of this test is to how well this flies and get some pilot training in in preparation for the more expensive fixed wing program being driven now.

Flight Plans

We are limited to only a few 3S batteries so targeting three flights.

Pre-flight Checklist

• check throttle is in correct orientation

• check video system

• check all controller inputs

• check mechanical/ee systems are secure

Warmup

• @Daniel Puratich fly quad

• Goal is to get @Meghan Dang comfortable with the video feed quality and range bounds

• One pack will be ~6 min flight time

Flight #1

• Meghan flies foam plane

• Daniel would like to fly quad same time to get some more footage of foam plane in the air

• flying in a loop

• get a feel for aircraft

• takeoff downwind

• feel out the battery life, land after 7 minutes to check battery percentage
