  • Chatted w/ Watarrow members about wing constructions. Key points summarized below:

    • Moving away from monokote heat shrink wrap

      • Time consuming to manufacture

      • Decent amount of concaving w/ 1/16th ribs

      • Used non-CSA approved iron. The play might be to use te

    • 3D printed leading edge could be a problem - the ironing process could require about 200 deg C, which will probably melt/deform the 3D prints. Another option is to buy a bar of wood and CNC it to the shape.
