 Team recaps

A couple bullet points on the team’s general goals/focus points this week, and if there’s anything that is blocking your team.

Directors

  • Continue supporting Flight Test + Systems Integration operations

  • Had one good social → planning a few more

    • tinywhoop racing event

    • paintball

    • karaoke

  • Getting sub-team leads to start planning their own sub-team socials & work-sessions

  • Training up now Pilots & GSO, as well as replacement directors!

  • Support sub-teams through funding rounds, work with operations to create funding proposals.

Autonomy

  • Progress on all tasks (question)

  • Bringup new autonomy leads (to be voted soon)

EFS

  • Gemini setup

  • task assignment out

  • big procurement for RTK GPS

  • Projected collab w/ EE for lighting project?

  • Also focusing on tracking antenna in preparation for ground and flight testing

EE

  • Funding plan finalize

  • Send out digikey component order

  • Review ZP3 interface rework

  • component selections for 6s ESC

Mechanical

  • 1 Layup for Peggy 2 is done, next one to be made this weekend

  • Assemble cabin 1

  • Machine parts for peggy 2

  • Order parts and start drawings for antenna tracker

Operations

  • Starting work on sponsorship proposals for this term ‼️

  • Working on some new merch ideas for W24

 Funding

  • Each subteam please have a breakdown of what you’ll likely need to support your projects across the next ~ 12-18 months.

  • Put these into a well formatted document listing at least minimum, maximum, and some average cost breakdown for each item.

    • Send these to wingchee + directors no later than [date: proposed ~~jan 30] (this is 1 day from today)
