This document is intended to be shared externally to give context to those interested in doing a co-op with WARG. This summarizes the process from an external perspective and intended to be sent by WARG to those interested in our co-op Program.

Mentors must be experienced team members
Co-ops must be interviewed by more than a single WARG member before an offer can be extended.

More than two positions must be approved on case by case basis by SDC. WARG is frequently able to exceed this because of our history of good co-op experiences.

Daily syncs with manager of at least 30 minutes.

All WARG positions are unpaid. We provide a learning opportunity and the co-op credit

location onsite mostly for best experience
times (up to you mostly, but meeting timings are sometimes weekends and evenings so a bit off)

We will hold onto all submitted resume’s in our Onedrive so leads can access it.
Interviews either done externally or via waterlooworks
we may do rankings officially or we may do direct offers
