Summary

• the university has given us a onedrive account with our waterloo email, explained in Email.

Permissions

• leads, PMs, and a handful of other roles have access to this via the WARG account

• Individual files and folders can be shared to member’s personal uwaterloo emails so they can edit and contribute to these. Try and avoid sharing massive folders though, only share what’s needed

• Some documents are controlled and should never be shared to anyone’s personal. These include the team roster and a few others so we can protect privacy. Just use common sense.

Use Case

This is our primary platform for media, photos, videos, and presentations. we have 5tb of data space so please use it for general things. if your a member and want to use onedrive but dont have access simply create your file in your personal uwaterloo onedrive and share it with editing privledge to the warg onedrive. We have more space in onedrive than we do in google drive so please bias toward using onedrive unless its basically impossible to avoid using google drive.

Onedrive we have 5tb and Gdrive we have like 10 Gb so it’s a huge advantage to use this! See here from midsun discord but seems like other teams are looking to make this transition as well.
