• Alison Thompson made a copy of Peggy in the comp 2025 folder, please create ALL NEW PEGGY PARTS IN COMP2025! If you have started things in COMP2024, please move to COMP2025 and update file names accordingly.

• We are switching solidworks versions to 2024, please ask Alison Thompson or Smile Khatri for the new license! You will not be able to access the PDM server or view parts that have been saved in 2024 on 2023!

• Plz fill out team roster form if you haven’t! We will NOT give you the new solidworks key if you haven’t filled out the roster for this term!

3D printing

• Bambu printer sent off for CSA certification. Hopefully we will receive it back by July 27th…

  • use RPC in the mean time. Our team has a FOB which allows us to access RPC during unsupervised hours.

  • RPC Policies

  • the Bay has a box dedicated for filaments. Some filaments are also in the AMS system. Ping Smile Khatri w questions.

• DO NOT print with CF petg filament in RPC printers. It will destroy the printer nozzles and filament drive gear.

Weatherproofing

• Aim to have dome and mould design ready for review by Friday.

• Still have to determine the process of thermoforming (temperatures, time, etc).

• Mould can be manufactured with the foam block we already have.

• Design should fit in thermoformer according to online specifications, but should check in person too before manufacturing.

• Will fix folder location and naming once my PDM is setup
