Justification

• We want to be able to tell others about what we’re doing at WARG!

  • Members working in finance would like to disclose information about the cash flow within WARG to potential employers. Allowing them to do this is in alignment with https://uwarg-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/AD/pages/2567177674/Team+Charter?search_id=a2c10803-8487-47ac-82f6-43ad02ea4763 .

• Most of our sources are legally required to (or do on their own) already disclose how much they sponsor/donate to our team already.

• We don’t have any reason to hide the amount of money we have as a team and our financial status.

Implementation

• Publishing the records ourselves is a lot of overhead for no benefit so this likely won’t be done in the foreseeable future, but it would be nice.

• Members are allowed to mention this information publicly in conversation and on their resumes.
