Lead Onboarding Process
Overview
Audience: New WARG leadership.
This document describes the steps required for a new lead to onboard to WARG leadership.
Process
Feel free to ask the directors if you have any questions or concerns.
Process:
Add your name to Lead List for the upcoming term, including whether you will be onsite or remote
Do not add your name for the term that you were promoted, unless instructed by a director
Resubmit information to team roster:
Add Discord roles as per Discord Management
Change your Discord nickname:
Subteam lead:
Firstname Lastname [subteam_name Lead]
Director:
Firstname Lastname [director_type Director]
Review credentials:

Bitwarden password manager for WARG accounts
Bay code and responsibilities: Bay Code
Login to WARG’s Microsoft account (Outlook and OneDrive)
Note: outlook may get mad when you try to sign in with a second uwaterloo account. If that happens just sign into a different browser.
Add your device to 2FA: https://uwaterloo.login.duosecurity.com/devices . You may have to be with a lead for this since your first login will require a code from an already added device.
We highly recommend getting our Email on your phone with email notifications enabled so you can represent your subteam via the WARG email.
Login to WARG’s Google account (Gmail and Google Drive)
Add your device to 2FA
Ask for admin permissions for your account on WARG’s platforms
Asana
Confluence
GitHub (if applicable)
Altium 365 (if applicable)
CAD file storage system (if applicable)
Optionally enable platform notifications
Discord, Asana, and Confluence are recommended so that you are easily reached
Request to be added to other platforms:

Login to WARG Outlook/Onedrive
Move e-mails to respective folders after they are done, use labels appropriately, mark as unread for others to see if the e-mail was not for you.
Possibly use a different browser to avoid challenges/mistakes
