May 4th: Waterloo → Marathon, 12 hours expected

May 5th: Marathon → Southport, 11.5

May 6, 7, 8: Competition

May 9th: Southport → Marathon, 11.5 hours

May 10th: Marathon → Waterloo, 12 hours

Todo:

  • Make sure you are UHIP Fees arranged

  • Bring your healthcard if you can, may need to be shown if you require medical assistance

Vehicles:

  • 1 Dodge Caravan, 1 Rav4.

  • Drivers:

    • Please pick up vehicles on May 3rd before ESMS closes, head to ESMS, ask for help, and say you need the keys to the Rav4 and Caravan. Give my name if asked who booked.

    • Please setup ELD app.

    • DO NOT SPEED YOU ARE BEING TRACKED (maybe just use Cruise Control)

    • No more than 6 hours driving in 24 hours. (2+2)

    • Rotate drivers every 2 hours (recommended but not mandated) → See footnote 1

      • Try to fill gas tank whenever possible → who knows if the next 4 gas stations might be empty

  • Fuel: We are responsible for delivering the vehicles back with a full tank.

    • We will allocate up to $300 to each of the following people to pay for gas: @Brielle Chenier @Aidan Bowers (Deactivated) @R D @Matthew Visser @Jennifer Luo @Daniel Puratich (Unlicensed) . Please keep receipts for reimbursement.

Hotels:

  • Hotels: Marathon there/back, Microtel @ comp.

  • 4 to a room, 2 rooms w 2 queen beds each

  • Hotel Dates: May 4th night, May 8th night

  • Double check in conops and comp when we get accommodation

  • @Sahil Kale and @Brielle Chenier will pay for 1 room each on each night, at $122/night for 2 nights for 2 rooms.

  • When checking in, use Shrinjay Mukherjee for the reservation

Food:

  • Snack run before comp - covered by team funds

  • Water, First Aid, Sunscreen - covered by team funds

  • Meals provided for by your own funds

Individual Packing list

  • indoor shoes (they won’t let you inside without)

    • can be slippers ig? ← You can also buy these along the way at any stop if you forget.

  • Waterbottle

  • wet weather gear

    • Umbrella/boots // wet shoes

  • Sunscreen / Long sleeves / Hats (even if it’s raining?)

  • Masks (Anni can bring a box of x amount?)
