Old Charger

The instructions in this section are for using the old battery charger in the Bay. Only the ‘balance charging’ mode should be used to charge the battery, and the ‘storage’ mode should be used to discharge and store the battery.

Balance Charging

  1. Connect the XT60 connector (+/- terminals) of the battery, and the balance lead cable to the charger. You must ensure that the balance lead is connected so that the voltage level is balanced across all cells.

  2. Click on ‘Bat Type’ until ‘Bal' is displayed on the LCD display. This indicates that the charger is in the balance charging mode.

  3. Set the charging setting according to the battery type 3s or 6s. Quick press on the ‘Confirm’ button to hover between different values in the charger.

    1. For a 3s, set the mAH to ####. This can be done by pressing ‘Inc’ while the mAh value is selected.
