You can absolutely contribute to WARG while being away from Waterloo, however, the best experience is onsite in and around our bay (Bay Policies)! All of our bootcamps ( https://uwarg-docs.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/BOOT/overview ) are considered design experiences and so are meant to be easily done offsite and consequently you can join the team (via Bootcamper Onboarding process) while being offsite. Same goes for our design work on the team in general. However for optimal experience of meetings, flight tests, manufacturing, testing, socials, and workshops we desire members to be onsite. Most of our meetings will have an online option via discord, please see Calendar and ask in Discord regarding specific meetings if the calendar does not specify. As a uwaterloo student (a requirement of being in WARG as per Member Definition ) you will be onsite at least some of the time for university so we consider this a reasonable minimum location commitment for the team.
