Last flight test(s)

  - Good progress for IR detection system
    - false detections
    - camera settings are pretty good
    - configs are being adjusted
  - Flew with Houston and successfully identified IR beacon at multiple altitudes
    - can be tested on the ground for a lot of this
    - couple hundred from last FT
    - some false detections are from snow reflection
  - vibe on Pegasus is a concern
  - specific mounting to help minimize
- making a new mount takes time

  - Peggy validation flight for W25 was successful. Flew well and same as last term
  - Goal was to test KML sending over MavLink on Peggy → not complete
    - Issues with Pi and temperature/weather that caused this test to not be successful
  - Tuning airframe had two flights that will allow logs to be analyzed for more adjustments

2025-03-03 Competition Architecture Sync - Meetings - WARG

We are happy to announce that WARG has placed second in the AEAC Phase 1 Design Paper!

EFS tested LED boards. All but one work. We need to fix that and making spares would be nice.
- Reflowing did not fix. Worth replacing the STM
- The transceiver seems to work. RX looks good on the scope, TX doesn't.

Last meeting was the weekend before reading week started
- Good knowledge transfer session + fleshing out the system
Block diagram + high level architecture finalized
Power systems design in progress
- Schematic to be done in 1-2 weeks hopefully
- Megan Lee + Santosh Erathasari working through buck converter design right now
Kenny Na working on sensing circuitry + board level signal processing
Probably schedule meeting this week (today after meeting?? - might be too late in EST) but would be good to go over what needs to be done + check up on progress
- Andrew not available Saturday + part of Sunday → will discuss in meeting

Cell Monitor - Electrical - WARG
Met ~2 weeks ago to discuss ideas for project + what would be good for WARG’s comp drone
Divided tasks up:
- Sam Zhang + Arsalan Nasrifar doing custom battery pack research
- Chenxuan Yuan looking into BMS IC + board level early-stage design
Seems like a ton of really good progress made on board level IC selection, read through the confluence and it seems like should be ready to go forward with schematic design quite soon
- Timeline on this?? TBD as of now
- Does BMS require anything from the battery pack side of things to continue progressing?
Andrew to be less hands on in this project moving forward, should be pretty self-directed with tasks + R&D scope decently well-defined and in progress
