geolocation

The purpose of the geolocation module is to return earth coordinates by locating a geographical position on a set of pixels. In other words, the geolocation module will connect pixel coordinates to latitude and longitude geographical coordinates. The coordinates provided by the geolocation module are then passed into the mapLabelling module and a path is drawn.

TL;DR geolocation uses bounding box data and telemetry data to determine the location of a target object in space
